Department of psychology had started functioning since the inception of the college in 1966. After the retirement of the then head of the department, Dr. R.S Dubey in 1998, the department was discontinued for a while. The department restarted from the academic session 2018-19 with the appointment of a new faculty selected through UPSC New Delhi. Currently the subject of Psychology is offered for FY and SY BA courses. The Department has been contributing towards imparting education in the area of mental health and behavior science to the students of Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu as well as adjoining areas of Gujarat and Maharashtra.
